Ever since I was a kid, I have loved everything expressive, creative, and chaotic. It took me a while to figure out how to best express myself. Except for making arts and crafts, I explored a lot with my character. I went to drama school and dressed up in really cool, funny and colorful clothes, even my hair matched my yellow skirt from time to time. My bedroom was in constant remake, and I still find myself turning my, now adult home, completely upside down when I get bored.
At the beginning of 2019, I fell head over heels in love with yarn. I had always loved to knit, but this obsession turned our home into a craft store. I started crocheting at all hours, and Cellys Amigurumi was born. I grew a small community that shared my passion for making small fluffy creatures, and I loved it. I then started to make rugs, which led me to abstract art somehow. I started by painting rough strokes and weaved my yarn into the canvas. I really thought that my expression was going to be connected with yarn for the rest of my life but oh was I wrong.
I now paint semi abstract landscapes and often with my signature swans or other birds to make the piece come alive. This journey has just begun, and I love to look back just a couple of months and see the progress I have made. That all of you want to share this time with me still makes me speechless and beyond happy. I can't wait to grow with you and continue trying new things and ways to include creativity in my life.
